Four jetty berths (PP-1 to PP-4) with drafts up to 22 m handle tankers of about 120,000 DWT, and after a roughly R$70-million upgrade the terminal can receive Suezmax vessels carrying up to one million barrels. Operated by Transpetro in the Bay of All Saints, the Almirante Alves Câmara terminal (TEMADRE) feeds the adjacent Landulfo Alves refinery and ships its petroleum products outward. Storage capacity reaches around 656,690 m³ for liquids and LPG, underlining the site's role in Bahia's fuel supply chain. This is strictly a crude-oil and refined-products facility near Salvador, not a container or general-cargo port, and customs handling is geared to bulk-liquid energy flows. Boxed or conventional cargo for Bahia moves through the Port of Salvador or Aratu instead.
