Eight marine terminals and some 835 acres of industrial waterfront make Longview a full-service deep-draft port on the Columbia River, about 106 km upstream from the Pacific in Washington State. Three breakbulk berths served by mobile harbour cranes, on-dock rail and ample storage handle steel, construction materials, pulp and paper alongside oversize project cargo such as wind-energy components. Dry bulk dominates volumes, with grain, minerals and agricultural goods moving across the docks; soybeans and grain alone account for over 90 percent of agricultural exports. Direct rail links to BNSF and Union Pacific connect the quays to the wider US hinterland by road and rail.
