Two breakwaters shelter a single shipyard wharf and berth that together make up the working harbour of Loksa on Estonia's Gulf of Finland coast. The site is dominated by Loksa Shipyard, which builds steel structures, hatch covers and ship components and offers repairs via a roughly 4,000-tonne floating dry dock. Around 400 metres of quay at about six metres' depth cap vessel size near 130 metres length overall. Beyond shipbuilding, the port handles only modest volumes of bulk and occasional containers, keeping it a niche facility. Road links run the 58 kilometres west toward Tallinn for onward distribution. Regular container and general-cargo flows are better served by the Muuga and Tallinn terminals.
