A container terminal, a liquid-bulk jetty, a dry-bulk jetty and a barge landing make POIC Lahad Datu the most complete port facility on Sabah's east coast. Located on Darvel Bay in south-eastern Sabah, the complex was established from 2005 to add value to the region's roughly 1.55 million hectares of oil-palm estates.
