Grain, containers and rail wagons define the cargo mix at Illichivsk, the Black Sea port now officially named Chornomorsk and located some 20 kilometres southwest of Odesa. Its grain complex at berths 16 and 17 stores up to 190,000 tonnes across 38 silos and moves roughly 6.2 million tonnes a year. Together with Odesa and Pivdennyi, it forms the Greater Odesa cluster that carries most of Ukraine's seaborne grain exports.
