Rather than a cargo gateway, the Port of Siuslaw at Florence is a working fishing and recreational harbour on Oregon's coast, some 4.7 river miles up the Siuslaw from the Pacific. Its commercial wharf and marinas serve fishing and crabbing boats, and the river has historically carried barged lumber and quarried products.
