Sawn timber and granite are the signature exports of Falkenbergs Terminal, a specialised dry-bulk and forest-products port on Sweden's Kattegat coast. Operated by Falkenbergs Terminal AB, it moves roughly 350,000 tonnes of cargo and around 270 vessels a year, also importing raw materials for the steel and sawmill industries. The cargo mix centres on logs, wood chips and sawn timber alongside dry bulk; there are no container line services. A short fairway about 7 metres deep takes vessels up to roughly 140 metres, backed by 36,000 m² of warehousing and a weighbridge. Road and rail along the west coast connect the hinterland. For containers or larger general-cargo volumes, Gothenburg, Halmstad or Helsingborg are the practical alternatives.
