Brevik, on the Frierfjord in Norway's Telemark region, is best known as the home port of the Norcem cement plant, one of Northern Europe's largest cement-handling terminals. Operated by Brevik Terminal AS, the industrial port moves roughly 3 million tonnes a year — mainly cement, clinker, dry bulk and break-bulk.
