In the industrial Gemlik Bay on the Sea of Marmara — a corridor serving the Bursa–Istanbul economy — the Borusan Fertilizer Jetty functions as a works-related berth rather than a general liner terminal. With a quay depth of around 6.4 metres, it mainly handles bulk and industrial commodities such as fertiliser; regular container, breakbulk or RoRo handling is not confirmed here.
