Part of the West Natuna oil-and-gas complex in South Natuna Sea Block B, Belida is an offshore production point rather than a commercial cargo port. Alongside fields such as Anoa, Kakap and Belanak, it feeds natural gas to Singapore through one of the world's longest subsea pipelines. The site is operated by Medco EP Natuna, which took over the block from ConocoPhillips in 2016, and works as an open roadstead for hydrocarbon transfer to tankers. No containers, breakbulk or customs-cleared freight pass through, and there is no road or rail hinterland. Shippers handling general cargo should use Batam, Singapore or Pontianak.
