Operated by Pertamina Hulu Energi ONWJ, the Ardjuna terminal serves the offshore oilfield of the same name in the Java Sea, some 18 nautical miles off the north coast of Java and about 59 nautical miles east of Jakarta. Rather than a quay, it comprises several CALM single-point moorings and a rigid-arm buoy linked to floating storage units such as the Citra Ayu and Cempaka Nusantara, plus the LPG storage barge Ardjuna Sakti. Crude flows through a 36-inch submarine pipeline from the storage buoy to an export SBM where tankers load. The cargo is purely energy – crude oil and LPG – with no container, breakbulk or conventional customs handling. For forwarders it is relevant only to tanker and offshore-supply operations.
