However, the announced scale shows the direction this could take: electric trucks are no longer procured merely as vehicles, but rather as a complete service together with power, charging planning, and digital control. Whether the plan succeeds remains to be seen. The 500 vehicles have not yet been completely delivered or deployed. Prices, exact quantities per customer, and individual start dates per corridor have not been published. The deployment is also not announced as autonomous transport. For now, it involves Tesla Semi trucks within a digitally controlled freight network. Einride expects the new fleet to increase its current inventory of approximately 250 to around 750 deployed electric trucks.
