Hapag-Lloyd est un armateur hambourgeois et l'un des plus grands transporteurs maritimes à la ligne du monde. La compagnie est issue de la fusion, en 1970, de deux compagnies allemandes historiques : la Hamburg-Amerikanische Packetfahrt-Actien-Gesellschaft (HAPAG) et le Norddeutscher Lloyd. Sa flotte dessert un réseau mondial de routes avec une forte présence sur les lignes Asie–Europe, transpacifiques et transatlantiques. Les transitaires apprécient la régularité des rotations et la couverture portuaire étendue, qui inclut des escales secondaires. Hapag-Lloyd est cotée à la Bourse de Francfort sous le symbole HLAG.
