The NCTS Unloading Permission is the electronic release granted by the destination customs office allowing the carrier or consignee to unload goods carried under the transit procedure at the designated place. It is recorded within the New Computerized Transit System (NCTS) and presupposes that the consignment has been properly presented and the transit declaration accepted. In Switzerland this message exchange runs through the BAZG system Passar under the common transit procedure (CTC) or national transit procedure. Only after the unloading permission may the goods be unloaded and subsequently reported back in the NCTS Unloading Report.
