> Safe LPG transport starts with the right containment system.

Safe LPG transport starts with the right containment system. LPG cargo containment systems are certified tanks and transport units – predominantly fabricated from high-strength steel or aluminium – engineered to store and carry liquefied petroleum gas under pressure. They must comply with the applicable dangerous goods regulations: ADR for road, RID for rail, IMDG for sea, and IATA DGR for air transport. Beyond material certification, these frameworks mandate regular inspections, documented pressure and leak-tightness tests, and certified pressure relief devices. Unlike standard tank containers, LPG containment systems are specifically designed for flammable pressurized gases and are therefore subject to more stringent type-approval procedures.
