Operationally, CKD logistics is highly demanding: parts must be picked, packed in purpose-built trays or cartons, documented with certificates of origin, and delivered just-in-time to assembly plants. A single missing component or incorrect customs paperwork can halt an entire production line – which fundamentally distinguishes CKD from standard general cargo or spare-parts shipments.
