Chartera Output is the central application in the ePortal of the Swiss Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG) for retrieving all documents generated by BAZG services on the ePortal – in one place instead of scattered across the individual specialist applications. For private individuals and professionals alike (freight forwarders, hauliers, customs agents, shippers, trading companies) these are in particular invoices, assessment decisions (eVV) and refund documents from services such as Passar, LSVA III, Biera or Prezius. Use: with the prefilled business partner ID (GP-ID) or by entering the company's UID, individual documents or grouped dossiers can be searched and downloaded; filters such as "document type" or date narrow the search. Important for forwarders: a limited version is available without a business partner role – the forwarder gives the importer/exporter the document number and a one-time access code so they can download the document without being registered as a BAZG customer in the ePortal. Context: Chartera Output is part of the customs digitalisation programme DaziT and replaces separate document retrieval via the various specialist applications. Not to be confused with the eVV itself (the legally valid proof of assessment) or the eBordereau – Chartera Output is the retrieval channel, not the document.
