Wherever bulk materials need to move in large quantities, the big bag – formally a Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container (FIBC) – is the packaging of choice. Typically holding between 500 and 2,000 kilograms, it handles grain, fertilizers, chemicals, minerals, and a broad range of other free-flowing products. Made from woven polypropylene, it features four lifting loops, a top filling spout, and usually a bottom discharge outlet, offering significant cost savings over drums or crates and collapsing flat when empty. For hazardous goods or food-grade applications, specially certified versions are required.
