> Grenada es un Estado insular del Caribe oriental, miembro de CARICOM y OECS, con una economía fuertemente orientada a las importaciones. La carga marítima se gestiona principalmente a través del puerto de St. George's (Grenada Ports Authority), y la carga aérea a través del aeropuerto internacional Maurice Bishop. El despacho aduanero es electrónico mediante ASYCUDA World en la Customs and Excise Division; las importaciones están sujetas al arancel externo común de CARICOM y a un IVA del 15 por ciento (IVA de importación exigible junto con el arancel). Las exportaciones clave son la nuez moscada, las especias y el cacao.
