Aucun autre site de l'US Air Force en Europe n'est plus grand: RAF Lakenheath, dans le Suffolk, abrite le 48th Fighter Wing, qui y exploite des F-15E Strike Eagle et, depuis 2021, en première unité américaine en Europe, des F-35A Lightning II.
