## Description

Pistes longues héritées de l'ère du Strategic Air Command, ravitailleurs KC-135R, hangars militaires : l'aéroport de Lincoln est avant tout une base de l'US Air Force, où la garde nationale aérienne stationne le 155th Air Refueling Wing. Côté civil, Lincoln – capitale du Nebraska – rejoint les plateformes de correspondance et a inauguré en 2024 un terminal agrandi à six portes (projet « LNK Next »). Aucune activité cargo dédiée n'y existe : la présence FedEx sur place est un terminal de messagerie routière, pas une aire de fret aérien. Le vrai fret aérien passe à environ 90 km au nord-est par Omaha-Eppley (centre FedEx, Amazon Air, zone franche FTZ 19), via l'Interstate 80.
