## Description

Sur la plaine du Tonle Sap, à environ 90 km de Phnom Penh, l'aéroport de Kampong Chhnang (IATA : KZC) a d'abord été un terrain militaire édifié par les Khmers rouges avec l'aide chinoise à la fin des années 1970. Il n'accueille toujours aucun trafic civil régulier ni fret, seulement des vols militaires et exceptionnels. Le fret aérien y est inexistant ; les envois de cette province de potiers et d'agriculteurs passent par Phnom Penh (Techo/KTI). La Route nationale 5 en constitue le seul axe logistique pertinent.
