## Description

Some 4,000 tonnes of cargo passed through Zahedan in 2016 – modest, but real for a provincial capital in Iran's south-east. Zahedan International (ZAH) lies six kilometres north-east of the city in Sistan and Baluchestan, about 80 kilometres from the Pakistani border crossing at Mirjaveh.
