## Description

At the head of the Draa Valley, where palm groves give way to the Sahara, Zagora Airport (OZG) is a jumping-off point for the Erg Chigaga dunes and the oasis village of M'hamid El Ghizlane. Zagora is famous for its weathered 'Timbuktu 52 days' camel-caravan signpost. Air service is very limited and largely seasonal tourism; the airport has no cargo terminal and handles essentially no air freight. The valley's farm output, dates above all, reaches market by road via Ouarzazate. Forwarders route any air shipments through Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN).
