## Description

World-heritage tourism, not freight, is what keeps Yakushima Airport busy. Japan Air Commuter's ATR turboprops shuttle hikers bound for the island's millennia-old cedar forests — UNESCO-listed since 1993 — to and from Kagoshima, Osaka-Itami and Fukuoka.
