## Description

Hung Huang Logistics runs the international cargo terminal at Wattay, while Lao Airlines and Lao Skyway handle domestic freight across the country's three cargo facilities. Together these sheds offer roughly 4,300 m² of storage, including freezers, a vault for valuables and a dedicated zone for dangerous goods. Sitting about four kilometres from central Vientiane on the Mekong opposite Thailand, the airport pairs air freight with the Friendship Bridge road crossing and the Vientiane–Boten railway toward China. Customs clearance takes place on site, making Wattay the principal entry and exit point for express and general cargo moving in and out of Laos. Throughput stays modest by regional standards, yet as the only full-service cargo airport in the country it concentrates almost all of Laos's international airfreight.
