## Description

Named after aviation pioneer Ángel de la Paz Aragonés, Santiago del Estero Airport (SDE) serves Argentina's oldest city, founded in 1553. It is a passenger-only airport, linking the provincial capital to Buenos Aires (Aeroparque) with Aerolíneas Argentinas and Flybondi, and handled about 222,000 travellers in 2025.
