## Description

Vágar Airport (FAE) lies on the island of the same name in the west of the Faroes and is the archipelago's only airport. Atlantic Airways connects the islands year-round with Copenhagen as well as destinations such as Reykjavik, Edinburgh and Paris, complemented by SAS on the Copenhagen route. There are no dedicated freighter flights and air cargo travels as belly freight mainly via Copenhagen (CPH); most goods, including salmon exports, move by sea via Tórshavn.
