## Description

Road transport, not aircraft, carries most of the freight that leaves the Tromso region, even though Tromso Airport Langnes (TOS/ENTC) handled more than 2.8 million passengers in 2025 as northern Norway's busiest airport. State-owned Avinor operates the airport, Wideroe bases its regional network here, and SAS and Norwegian link it with Oslo alongside seasonal international services. Cargo moves almost entirely as belly freight on those passenger flights and is handled on site by service providers including Cargolife, which offers warehousing, customs clearance and temperature-controlled capacity. No scheduled full-freighter operation is documented at Tromso: Norway's seafood exports, roughly 650 tonnes flown daily to Asia and North America, are concentrated at Oslo Gardermoen (OSL), which handled about 170,000 tonnes of cargo in 2025 and is northern Europe's largest freighter base.
