## Description

Soroti Airport (SRT) is best known as the base of the East African Civil Aviation Academy, a long-standing flight-training school in eastern Uganda. Activity centres on instruction and general aviation rather than scheduled passenger or freight service. With no cargo terminal on site, goods from the Teso sub-region are trucked to Entebbe about 300 km to the south-west for air export.
