## Description

Rahim Yar Khan's airport owes its name and funding to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE founder who used the area as a hunting retreat. Today Shaikh Zaid Airport (RYK) handles mainly domestic flights, with occasional charters to the Gulf. It has no dedicated cargo terminal and plays no role in commercial air freight.
