## Description

Unlike a commercial field, Ramat David in the Jezreel Valley southeast of Haifa is one of the Israeli Air Force's oldest combat bases, long associated with F-16 squadrons. It is strictly military, with no scheduled passenger or freight service and no public access. Its runways and facilities serve operational needs only. Air freight for northern Israel is handled at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV), while sea freight moves through the nearby Port of Haifa. Ramat David plays no part in cargo logistics.
