## Description

Set in the pistachio heartland of Kerman province, Rafsanjan Airport (RJN) handles domestic passenger flights, chiefly to Tehran, and little else. The region's famous pistachio crop travels out by road toward ports and the capital rather than through this airport, which has no meaningful cargo facilities.
