## Description

Where road and rail are limited along Colombia's Caribbean coast, Cartagena pairs two strengths instead: the country's largest container seaport and its third-busiest airport, Rafael Núñez (CTG), which handles over five million passengers a year. Carriers include Avianca, LATAM, JetSMART, Wingo and Copa, alongside international services from American, Delta, Air Canada, Air Transat and Neos. Air cargo moves mainly as belly freight on these flights, while the cargo terminal manages perishables, dangerous goods and temperature-controlled consignments. The sea-air combination is the airport's distinctive feature, letting shippers lift time-critical portions of an ocean supply chain out by air.
