RAAF Base Pearce is first and foremost a flying school, not a freight field. Located at Bullsbrook some 35 kilometres north of Perth, the base hosts one of Australia's principal pilot training establishments as well as the basic flying training of the Republic of Singapore Air Force. It runs no commercial cargo and has no public freight terminal. Air freight for the Perth metropolitan area moves through nearby Perth Airport (PER), which concentrates Western Australia's main cargo carriers and ground handlers. Forwarders reach the Bullsbrook area by road via the Brand Highway and the northern Perth network when required.
