## Description

Agricultural produce from the cotton- and vegetable-rich Khatlon plain is the cargo that occasionally moves through Bokhtar International Airport (KQT), about 5 km northeast of Bokhtar — the city renamed from Qurghonteppa in 2018. Ural Airlines is the only scheduled operator, and traffic has declined as the larger Kulob Airport, roughly 85 km east, draws volume away.
