## Description

Around one million kilograms of freight move through Piarco (IATA: POS, ICAO: TTPP) in an average month, handled by Swissport, which has run the airport's cargo operation since 1989 and manages four modern warehouses on site. Set some 30 kilometres east of Port of Spain, it is the home base of Caribbean Airlines, the region's largest carrier, and the principal cargo gateway for Trinidad.
