## Description

Cambodia's export boom rides largely in the holds of aircraft, and for decades Phnom Penh International Airport (IATA: PNH) was where those shipments cleared. Since September 2025 the capital's scheduled passenger and freight traffic has shifted to the new Phnom Penh Techo International Airport (KTI), about 20 km south in Kandal province, with the old field kept for selected roles and future urban redevelopment.
