## Description

Owned by Gazpromavia, Gazprom's aviation arm, Ostafyevo (OSF/UUMO) served as a Moscow business-aviation airport rather than a cargo gateway. Opened for civil use in 2000 on a former military airbase 14 km south of Moscow's ring road, it ceased flight operations in early 2024, after which the city of Moscow acquired Gazprom's terminal assets for about RUB 2.7 billion.
