## Description

A dedicated cargo terminal, charter passenger traffic (TUI fly) and business aviation share Oostende-Brugge International Airport (OST/EBOS) on Belgium's North Sea coast, about 25 km west of Bruges in West Flanders. The airport handled roughly 18,100 tonnes of freight in 2024, down from about 51,000 tonnes in 2022 after runway renovation work. ASL Airlines Belgium and other charter freight operators use the field, and in 2025 EASP Air signed a letter of intent for a new 4,900 m² hangar and office complex to service wide-body freighters. Proximity to the port of Zeebrugge, some 25 km away, supports sea-air flows. For larger volumes, Liège Airport (LGG, approx. 170 km) remains the region's leading freight gateway.
