## Description

Odessa Airport (IATA: ODS) is located southwest of the city centre of the Black Sea port city of Odessa. Before the war it was one of Ukraine's most important airports with a new terminal, served by carriers including Turkish Airlines, LOT and Ukraine International; since the closure of Ukrainian airspace in 2022, operations have been suspended and the runway has been damaged by attacks. No air cargo is handled; the nearest active cargo alternative is Chișinău (KIV), around 150 km away.
