## Description

DHL Express runs a station at Woolsington beside Newcastle International Airport (IATA: NCL, ICAO: EGNT), north-east England's principal airport, where operators move roughly 400–450 tonnes of cargo a month. With about 5 million passengers a year, NCL is the main gateway for Tyne and Wear, Sunderland and Northumberland, served by Ryanair, easyJet, Jet2 and British Airways to Europe, domestic UK points and seasonal long-haul, whose belly holds carry part of the freight.
