## Description

Few airports illustrate the gap between design and demand as sharply as Nay Pyi Taw International (NYT): built to handle several million passengers a year, it sees only a fraction of that traffic. Serving Myanmar's purpose-built capital 16 kilometres to the northwest, it runs mostly domestic services plus occasional regional links to Bangkok.
