Ranked among Morocco's ten busiest airports and up some four percent in 2023, Nador Al Aaroui International Airport (NDR) sits about 25 km south of the Mediterranean port city of Nador. Its schedule is driven by low-cost and diaspora traffic – Ryanair, Air Arabia Maroc, Transavia and TUI fly alongside Royal Air Maroc – serving Riffian communities across France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. There are no scheduled freighters: air cargo moves as belly load on passenger flights, handled on the ground by Swissport. Heavy volumes go by sea instead, through the new Nador West Med deep-water port taking shape nearby. Time-critical air shipments are consolidated via Casablanca Mohammed V (CMN).
