## Description

Air Niugini, PNG Air and the freight specialist Hevilift together make Kagamuga Airport one of the busiest fields in Papua New Guinea, serving the Western Highlands from the Waghi Valley some 13 kilometres north-east of Mount Hagen. Air Niugini flies daily to Port Moresby with the Fokker 100, PNG Air uses the ATR 72-600, and Hevilift runs charter and supply flights from a base at the field.
