## Description

Drift ice on the Sea of Okhotsk fills the arrivals hall with tourists each winter; freight, however, plays almost no role at Memanbetsu Airport (MMB, ICAO: RJCM). Serving the town of Ōzora near Abashiri in eastern Hokkaido, the field sees JAL (the largest operator here), ANA, AIRDO and Peach Aviation flying mainly to New Chitose (Sapporo) and Tokyo-Haneda.
