## Description

Better known for the thundering Kalandula Falls and for cotton and farming than for freight, Malanje province offers an airport (MEG) that is firmly a passenger operation. It mainly serves domestic routes to Luanda and other provincial capitals. There is no air cargo function of note: no specialised freight terminal, with shipments riding as belly cargo. What counts logistically is the Luanda Railway (CFL), whose line connects Malanje to the capital and the seaport of Luanda and absorbs heavier goods. International airfreight is consolidated through NBJ near Luanda. For forwarders, MEG is a passenger and regional station with a rail link to the coast.
