## Description

A single cargo terminal, eight aircraft stands and a 2020-built passenger building able to handle anything up to an Airbus A380 define the freight side of L.F. Wade, Bermuda's only airport. All air cargo moves in the belly holds of scheduled passenger flights — there are no dedicated freighters. United, American, Delta, British Airways, Air Canada and WestJet link the island chiefly to the US East Coast (New York, Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte), London and Toronto. Because Bermuda imports almost everything it consumes, time-critical goods arrive by air while bulk cargo comes by sea through Hamilton. The airport sits in St George's parish, about eleven kilometres north-east of the capital, Hamilton. For shippers it is a reliable belly-freight gateway rather than a freighter hub.
