## Description

At 603 feet in a bend of the Connecticut River, ringed by wooded ridges, Lebanon Municipal (IATA: LEB, ICAO: KLEB) is the air gateway to the Upper Valley — home to Dartmouth College and the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, one of New England's largest hospitals. A single scheduled carrier, Cape Air, keeps the federally supported Essential Air Service link to Boston; there is no dedicated freight operation. Most air cargo bound for the region clears about 120 kilometres southeast at Manchester (MHT, FTZ 81) or at Boston-Logan. Road feed along Interstates 89 and 91 ties the valley to those hubs. LEB serves the valley with scheduled and charter flights; pallet tonnage is not part of the picture.
