## Description

Despite database claims of round-the-clock cargo and customs, La Laguna (GJA) is in reality a small island airstrip serving Guanaja, the easternmost and least-populated of Honduras' three main Bay Islands. Short-runway commuter flights, operated by carriers such as CM Airlines, link it to the mainland via La Ceiba. There is no dedicated freight terminal and no standalone customs operation; whatever moves by air fits inside light aircraft. Cargo for the island runs almost entirely through the mainland, consolidated at La Ceiba and, for larger volumes, San Pedro Sula. For forwarders, GJA is purely a feeder point rather than a transfer location.
